I answered spam calls

Replayed voicemails

Checked the time stamps

Ghosts.

All of them.

Clinging

Hanging

Holding on like cat hair

On my shirt

I’m allergic.

Like cotton candy wisps

Against my skin

Soft, then sticky

Turning me colors

Now grainy

Uncomfortable

I don’t feel clean.

Ghosts.

All of them.

Let me go
