Ghosts Don't Get Rest

is death really the end

then should we be jealous of those who have passed

they got out before us

they escaped this dangerous existence

the living are so selfish

that we wish to pull them back

so ghosts get trapped

ghosts get bitter and then violent

they strike out because they want to take us with it

so I guess selfishness is forever

humans just don't want to die

we had to have a higher conscious

it made us think too much

flora and fauna accepted the cycle

they kept life simple

humans fear death

and try to be better than the apex

we might not know what is best

now we fear death and think we're important

what if it's not a punishment

I hope it's just peaceful

so we're proven wrong

will the ghost take the planet?
