Ghost Completion

verse 2

By Forest GreenPublished 3 months ago • 1 min read

You left the oven on, dog, your brain’s getting fried,

You’ve been loading for years with nowhere to hide.

Just a permanent trailer for a movie that flops,

You start at the bottom and quit at the tops!

You dropped out of breath before you even stepped in,

You’re a ghost of a ghost, you were dead to begin.

No follow-through, homie, you folding like lawn chairs,

Running out of steam on the very first staircase.

I’m finishing careers while you’re starting to stutter,

Leaving you melted and flat in the gutter.

Don’t step to the mic if you can’t see it through

Class dismissed. And nobody remembers you
