Geranium Green

notes from a private meal

By Michele NampalliPublished 4 months ago 1 min read

Chrysanthemums tea steeps

as i.

Rest is breathing

Sunlight sunbeams cascade

you omitted them

***

Volcano flares

But your eyes are sealed.

***

Boiled fingerling potatoes

mashed up in a porcelain white bowl

I scooped with my index

slathered it on my rosebud tongue tip

***

and the phone rings into vibrator heaven

***

geranium green on my 24k bangle

***

locked in self

possessed

***

I’ll be ok.

About the Creator

Michele Nampalli

This space is breath for my sensitivity. The poems come fully formed. I've known for quite some time now that my art is about receiving more than creation...its the most natural way I know to process my inner world. It started when I was 7.
