Genuine love poem — Valentine's Day

Let’s touch each other’s hearts while life lasts.

By Self TranscendingPublished 5 months ago 1 min read

Let’s touch each other’s hearts while life lasts,

and let us watch the power gained through our vulnerable discussions,

cause you don’t have to take precautions anymore,

but I understand your hesitation.

Let me intertwine my fingers in yours.

Love waits.

Love endures.

So, I’ll be patient for you, while you’re cautious.

As Valentine’s Day comes along, let us not forget that true, genuine love has patience and understanding. It emanates peace and comfort and makes you feel secure. It's not about grand gestures or flashy displays; instead, it thrives in the quiet moments, in the simple acts of kindness and shared laughter.
