what a beautiful day today, sitting on the front porch with head back,
eyes closed,
absorbing the warmth of the sun's radiant touch,
soft gusts of breeze, noticeably chilled, caress the neck, giving a sense of cool to offset the warmth,
the perfect mixture as the mind is swept to memories of the same warmth from times gone by,
on the beaches by the sea, touched by the same breeze without the chill,
for just a moment in time, there is no time,
there is no reason,
there is no care,
there is just a feeling of wonderment,
a feeling of peace,
a feeling of calm,
a reaching out to give thanks for this moment,
giving thanks for the memories, giving thanks for the precious gift of life.

During the 1940s and 1950s Hitchcock used his years of experience in the film industry to direct some of the most thrilling and frightening films of the era. They are full of heightened emotions, conflict and twisted plot-lines.
