Gazing Beyond

- The Horizon's Embrace

In the tender embrace

of the bronze-hued morn

Where dew-kissed blades

of grass glisten and adorn

Seabirds gather, drawn

by nature's decree

To a focal point

where tranquility's key

~~~
Amidst the calm
of the typhoon's core
Sailors find solace
on the sandy shore
They taste the joy
the beach imparts
And relish the happiness
of trees in their hearts
~~~

Each pebble treasured

a gem in disguise

Humble clam shells

holding secrets and sighs

They cherish these tokens

simple and small

For they hold the essence

of joy over all

~~~
The sail upon the rooftop
it remains still
But the wood grains unfurl
revealing the thrill
The shape of the sea
with its ebb and its flow
Reflecting the dreams
that within us grow
~~~

Through the ferry window

our gazes align

In silent exchange

a language divine

We yearn for the moments

that lie ahead

In the only dawn

our souls gently tread

~~~
For in this shared horizon
our hopes entwine
An unseen thread
unbreakable, refined
We look ahead
with hearts intertwined
In this moment
our unity defined
~~~

With eyes fixed

on the horizon's embrace

We seek not to lose

what we each embrace

The only dawn

that unites you and me

A fleeting treasure

boundless and free

~~~
In the mirror of dawn
where dreams take flight
We find solace
in the soft morning light
With whispers of love
and longing unspoken
Our spirits entwined
forever unbroken
~~~

So let us cherish

this moment we've found

On International Surfing Day

love profound

As waves of passion crash

upon the shore

May our bond endure

forevermore
