It's not that you don't see me
It's that my presence seemingly
Brings
An uneasy feeling
Whether that be about
Parts of you
You'd rather not
listen to
Or parts of you
You'd rather not
face
The truth
is
I'm not here
For you to feel
Comfortable
I'm here to exist
Does that bother you?
Make you feel
Not enough?
Well I'm sorry
You
Don't quite like it
That's tough
Ironic
You
Spent your days
making me feel
The same
Ain't it Strange
how the tables
have turned
Have to say
That I'm no longer
Willing to
play in your games
About the Creator
Kristina Negron
I have been writing since I was a teenager but I have always been too shy to share my work. This year I resolved to discover myself and be courageous in expressing my creativity. I live in upstate NY and write mostly poetry as a hobby.
