God forbid
I don’t play aloof
And let people past
Sarcasm, obnoxiously big words
Mid west emo and underground French screamo
Take a break from cigs
Or say ‘no’ to drugs
What would I even be
If not a mirrorball
the looking glass for pretty girls to shine through
And it’ll only be funny
When someone says my joke louder
Don’t worry
I won’t ask you
For help
cleaning up
the mess of me
But I’m glad
I have an
Audience
I can turn around
Put on a show
And forget that
I’m not a star-just a person
Entertaining you
