From Stray to Stay: A Tale of Love and Growth

The Heartwarming Journey of a Strayed Dog, Adopted and Thriving

By Kelly KhooPublished 11 months ago 1 min read

In the streets, a lonely soul I found,

A strayed dog with eyes so profound.

A heart of gold, but lost and scared,

In need of love, tenderly repaired.

With trembling paws and matted fur,

I scooped you up, my little furrier.

Into my arms, you nestled tight,

A flicker of hope in the darkest night.

Together we embarked on a journey new,

A bond forged strong, between me and you.

Through trials and hardships, side by side,

With love and care, we'd conquer the tide.

In time, your wounds began to heal,

The joy in your eyes, once more revealed.

You flourished under my loving gaze,

In your heart, a newfound blaze.

From timid steps to leaps so high,

You blossomed like the morning sky.

No longer lost, but truly found,

With me, a home where you're unbound.

Through seasons passing, we'd explore,

Chasing butterflies, by the seashore.

Your tail wagged, a joyful dance,

In every moment, you'd enhance.

The years went by, our love grew strong,

In your presence, I truly belong.

With every day that we'd embrace,

A deeper bond, no time could erase.

You taught me lessons, pure and true,

The strength of love, the ties that grew.

Through ups and downs, we'd rise above,

You, my friend, a beacon of love.

And now, as time has made us gray,

Our souls still connected, come what may.

A life enriched by your warm embrace,

My strayed dog, forever graced.

So, let these words forever stand,

A testament of love, hand in hand.

From wandering soul to cherished friend,

A tale of growth, that has no end.
