Your kiss beyond bliss
An eraser wiping away pain and mistakes that once used to exist
Rewriting laws within myself, to keep from getting lost in sins abyss
You pulled me from hell and freed me from heartaches cell
I thought I knew love before our first kiss, I realize now i was amiss
What I called love before was a lie, dependency disguised in stealth
You awakened me to this for I could no longer escape in a tryst
To be with another would cause my heart and body itself to rebel
With you gone I feel incomplete, I survive by memories of us and knowing what could be
My longing has me an explorer ready to take to sea
Anything to reclaim the purity in the love I feel for thee for I’ve never experienced something so heavenly
Id venture galaxies and explore realms unknown, anything it takes for our love to prevail
Like Dante Id traverse hells inferno and face off with the devil, even if it threatened my longevity
For I know that our love can never fail
So I move forward blindly
Like Ahab in pursuit of that giant whale
Knowing God’s behind me
For all the way he whispers, with faith our bond shall never derail
