Distraction

Doubt, a constant companion, we never knew for sure,

In times like this, all mind's perception blurs.

Suffering seems to be our share,

Testing the strength of promises that we must bear.

Reclaiming our lost ability to walk

All while enduring the world's deafening talk

Craving creatures, forever asking more,

Taking pieces of soul, making hearts feel sore.

Initiating infinite possibilities of dreads and dreams,

Offering thoughts of disolvement, in solitude my spirit screams:

No solace found in others, kindness is hard to find, but I am not blind.

Doubts, but not blind. We see too much & not enough & wonder at it all, through blessings & curses, woundings & healings.
