Fourteen Minutes To Go
Counting Down To Midnight In A Sonnet
It was a quarter to midnight and I thought I could write a sonnet to countdown to midnight. This is it.
Music of course is "Twenty-Five Minutes To Go" by Johnny Cash which sort of goes with this sonnet.

Fourteen Minutes I'll Share Something
Thirteen Minutes, What Will It Be?
Twelve Minutes, I'll Sit And Wonder

Great song, and I love the sonnet it inspired.
Well done! You are always creative, Mike!
Timepiece in sonnet form, nice poetic countdown.
Very enjoyable! The rhyme and meter is so satisfying, and I love your diction too. π
ooooh, nicely done!
I found myself almost singing it. Good poem.
Did you get your Beauty sleep ?
Whenever I'm watching the clock, it seems to take forever. When I'm racing against the clock, not so much. Fun little poem.
Oh this would be so perfect for the New Year countdown! I loved it!
