Fortress of secrets

Secrets love

By Ali Sadeek AhmedPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

Fortress of secrets

She has hidden, and still does,

And that she may not reveal my love's secret.

Her eyes speak as they gaze,

Of the whispers of my love.

And the heart recounts what has transpired,

A passion for my love.

So why,

Until now,

Does she still hide?

Words of poetry erupt

Beneath the speech; why does she hide?

And the heart understands her pulse,

Living in the paradise of her poetry.

And I, who blamed the words,

Why does she hide?

The language of the eyes, I live it,

The heartbeat, I feel it,

In her actions, in her face,

But not in the words from her lips.

She has hidden, and still does.

How can I reach

The fortress of concealment?

A fortress known only by the concealer.

And the mind is bewildered by her,

What does she hide?

For she has hidden, and still does.
