things i forgot:
1. beauty is visceral, cannot be forged in eyeliner.
2. vanity is vain.
3. starving will not bring me beauty. or happiness.
4. nobody cares :)
5. at the end of the day you are left with your own face in the mirror - be proud of who that is.
6. chaos can only hide your pain for so long.
7. you will lose yourself but never give up trying to find you.
8. nobody said it was going to be easy.
9. you will want to give up - don’t.

What I Would Do if I Joined Vocal Today
I'd do things a bit different if I joined Vocal today instead of February 2021. For one thing; the platform itself has changed quite a lot. Acting on input from its writer/creators many enhancements to the reporting, pay structure, engagement, and even ownership possibilities are now in place. (Yes- I am aware that not every change has been greeted with approval. This is not that: I am focusing on what I would do differently today.)

Well now, Sara...this is so true and so many people, like Brenton said, let these truths slip them by. This felt like a different tone and pace to your normal stuff...but still had your unique style all over it. Well done!
