In fields of green and skies of blue,
My heart sings a song of you.
A love that's pure and true,
Forever, my heart belongs to you.
As seasons pass and time goes by,
My love for you will never die.
With each beat of my heart,
My love for you will never part.
Like the moon that lights up the night,
Your love shines, forever bright.
In your arms, I feel safe and sound,
My love for you knows no bound.
Oh, how sweet the taste of your kiss,
A moment of pure and utter bliss.
My love for you will always stay,
Forever and a day.
So when you see this poetry,
And the emotions it conveys,
Know that my love for you is true,
Forever and always.

Before the last 6 months, I hadn’t written anything that wasn’t for my job or university for a number of years. I wanted to write more, I used to write all the time just for fun. I used to write poems and short stories that were just for me. I used to show them to certain members of my family but it was the process of writing them that I really enjoyed.
