A poem for the love of my life
I longed for you,
My whole life I somehow knew.
I was missing a piece.
I felt incomplete.
Till I found you.

It's like somehow I knew,
That you and me were made for each other.
You fixed the broken parts of myself.
The ones I didn't even know were incomplete.
You filled a hole in my heart.

I must have been missing you my whole life.
Then I found you.
By fate or some form of miracle
You were the missing piece of my puzzle.
I felt incomplete without you around.
//
That longing I felt.
The desire to be loved by someone.
You just swooped into my life and saved me.
You are the love of my life.
Thank you for saving me baby.

A quick poem before work today.
Thank you for reading.
My inspiration for this is a conversation I had with my boyfriend before he left for work this morning. I have never known love so great before. My whole life I searched for what I have now found with him.
