For the Scholars

I decided to come up and

Visit Chinaski with the few

Hours of daylight I have left.

Of course my room is still a

Mess and there is alot more

To clean up afterwards.

I spare it to

Enjoy myself and visit

A friend in spirit.

Writing means nothing.

It is only significant

To those who can feel it.

The life we live is what

Matters.

This page only shows that

I existed at one time.

The rest is up to those

I’ve touched to remember.

My life continues beyond

The cemetery I’ve come to

And beyond the bottle

I swim in.

I’m up here to relax.

Stress will come again.
