For Not What I Seek
But what you bring

Wandering off into the darkness looking for more,
Life is not yet what I expected,
Light will not shine bright enough into the shadow’s core,
My heat must explore and soar, if not, will never be mended.
You left a deep, burning, painful feeling in my chest,
One that no man should endure,
A hurt so deep right dead center between my breast,
You will never be ever pure.
I forbid you to come back into a place of curiosity,
Deprived of the warmth of a loving human,
Your behaviors of such frivolity,
Love between us was a mere intrusion.
