For Maestro

Make me lush again...

By LP SteinbeckPublished 9 years ago • 1 min read

For Maestro...

"How often have you walked quietly within my heart?

It is the forest, moist with passion and tears,

Drinking from the river of my soul flowing deep inside,

Thirsty depths,

It would seem an oasis.

In truth, Maestro, it is a desert of despair and wanton lust satiated only with a kiss of love,

A firm penetration of flesh and spirit that grazes wounds,

Yet brings forth that sweet and salted promise that need not be spoken,

Seeks no witness,

Requires no signature,

and washes the scars of our yesterdays in the united sweat of our concupiscent joy!

I wait for the man that realizes I will only be lush again for he who immerses himself in the river of my soul."
