For Each Hand on The Clock

As destiny plays its game

By Syed Arabi KhaliquePublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

In a moment's time, all remains the same.

For what changes really, in a moment's time,

Is it the hour I missed of what could have been?

Or is it the bells that ring unseen and unheard,

As I await for the arrival of the Spark,

The hour hand sets the arrival of one.

I keep my eyes on the glass that shows the world,

The world I dream of, it shows me of things to come,

For the minutes take a long time to disappear,

As songs become music and music becomes silence,

I await for the arrival of the Smile,

For whom the minutes sail in serenity.

When a door opens, opens the possibility of all,

Of things that have come to pass and those that never,

Is it the seconds that takes ones breath away?

Or is it the moment's glance of what they hold?

As I look to the reflection of a Sunflower,

A second turns into an minutes, turns into an hour and turns into eternity
