Fleeting Love

Love so beautiful

By Precious Chioma Published 2 years ago • 1 min read

Here's a poem about fleeting love:

"Fleeting Love"

Whispers in the moonlit night

Promises of forever's light

Two hearts entwined, souls on fire

Love's sweet illusion, our desire

But like the dawn's ephemeral gleam

Our love's brief radiance would beam

A moment's magic, lost in time

Leaving memories, a bittersweet rhyme

Your touch ignited flames so bright

Melting fears, banishing the night

Our laughter echoed, joyous and free

In that instant, we were meant to be

Yet, like autumn's fading leaves

Our love withered, its beauty bereaved

The seasons passed, and we drifted apart

Leaving only echoes in our heart

Now, in solitude, I ponder why

Our love's brief spark did not survive

Was it fate, or just a chance?

A fleeting dream, a romantic dance?

Still, I hold on to love's pure light

A beacon guiding through life's plight

For though our love did not endure

Its memory remains, forever pure.
