In a realm where shadows cast their hue,

"People say it's fine not to feel true."

But the repetition scrapes upon my core,

A phrase that echoes, taking its toll once more.

Soothing words, reminding that it's alright,

Yet the journey persists, the ceaseless fight,

To carry the burden of grief, to not be at ease,

To lift ourselves from despair, each day we seize.

Solitude enfolds, a smothering veil,

Muted cries resound, craving to prevail,

The anguish of a soul, yearning for release,

Lost in the void, unheard, aching in peace.

Craving an embrace, a true sense of embrace,

For we're all mere mortals, compelled through life's race,

Acknowledging stumbling in this rugged domain,

To endure, to flourish, to grasp moments, fleeting and sane.

But lost I remain, unsure how to mend,

Deep within my essence, where scars suspend,

Yet still, I persist, seeking life's tender zeal,
