first they spread rumors & lies

demonizing & branding them as enemies of the people

then they removed them from positions of authority

then they branded them

then they destroyed their shops

then they isolated them in ghettoes

then they shipped them off to prison camps

confiscating all their remaining possessions

then they starved & worked them to death

then they ushered them into gas chambers

& threw them into ovens

& only then did we call it a holocaust

that we might never need worry about it happening here

‘til they commit this last atrocity

    There was slavery, and Killing each other in Rwanda...and on it goes. The cycle and circle goes on. Aluta continua...the struggle continues.
