The Melody of Parody

I wrote this thinking it would be a fun song. However, I can’t sing.

AI can sing, but still produces mostly subpar music, and VERY cruddy duets. Trust me, I went down a rabbit hole at 1am, trying to get AI to sing this. I managed to create a decent version with just one voice.

If you want to hear the best AI version I managed, you can listen here for free:

If you’d rather not, no worries. I’ve slightly remade it into a “duet-poem” about the first date of two self-unaware narcissists.

Hey

Nice to meet you

Let me tell you a little bit about myself.

I live with my parents and don't pay rent, but totally stand up against entitlement.

How about you boy?

Hey, Well you know…

My dad was a jerk with zero EQ

Overcompensation is key

And my mom did it well

She made it her goal to teach me to feel

All my feelings are valid

I learned very well

One lesson not learned is that others feel too

Now I’m a sensitive narcissist, that’ll shit over you.

What about you girl?

Boy,

Self improvement's my goal.

I totally learn.

I've got all the psych. memes.

And no ability to discern.

You should so love yourself for who you are.

Uhm. Excuse me,

Hold on a sec.  I need my 15 layers of makeup before I get in the car.

While I do that,

Tell me more boy.

My mom gave me everything my dad never did

She never said no

I never said please

She thought it’d make me a wonderful man

Nothing like my dad

Nothing like him

Really?

Cause now I see women

As here at my whim

Not chopped

So pretty

I go to the gym

Looking for a girl, who’s there at my whim.

So, What do you think girl?

Self confidence.

OMG yes.

FYI. I don't learn from failure.

I handle only success.

If you ask me to look at it

from a different perspective

I’ll tell you you’re shaming me

Emotional gaslighting

It’s very effective

Don’t you agree boy?

Well, girl

That won’t work

You can’t tell me my drama isn't a trauma.

Every stumble is a slash to my ego

I don't have the EQ to take.

So I need you to worship

I need you to agree

Every issue I stand for

Is about me

Me

Me

Boy,

It won’t work.

And it’s not about me. It’s all about you.

If you tell me to change I'll fly in a rage.

I'll trash you and cancel you,  but I'm super accepting.

You can't disagree with me.

Is that so wrong?

My opinions are dogma.

And so is this song.
