Thank you for those

Blossoms you planted

Calls of having a place

In this city of Four Lakes

Here they plant pink petals

and there's a unused companion

at each stop

We arrived on

One of those Thursdays

New inches secured the soil

Ponder falling quietly

Like moving in a dream

A neighbor had as of now shoveled the walk

Brought us hand crafted soup

Y skillet dulce

Invited our child

As we started to memorize the names

Falling in adore was

Walking that road

With rainbows in all the windows

Updates of our worth

In statues that see like us

Finding domestic was

Finding

All our neighbors

Put rainbows within the windows as well

All the boulevards have the music

Of individuals on the beat

Jazz cafes and bookstore bars

Inventive brews for creating alter

Delta ways and mystery woodlands

Calm spots to rest and observe

And all over a welcome

Thank you for those

Blossoms you're planting

Your messages of cherish

What a lovely life

In this city of Four Lakes
