takes what won't be given
powered by my grandiose generousity
i heard cold feet are contagious
finding capsules of time
in the trinkets we misplaced
just rocks, some polished, some rough
our memories, mistaken
for the life of the sacrificed
in promises of love that never comes
but i don't know all that well?
i know the right thing isn't easy
and all things will change me the same way
if i make the same mistakes
tomorrow as i made yesterday
safe distance is needed
to stop me from deja vu
faded from view with regrets
accepting new consequences
nobody can live of a fence
finding, forgetting
discovery processes
this has only been a test.
