yes my sense of humour is dark
and as such my boundaries are few
my imagination
can be a little warped
(a nice way of saying fucked up)
on account of the lean
in the skew
that doesn't make me a comedian
that doesn't make me a star
i didn’t shoot the premier
but i did throw rocks at his car
it was a handful of unsealed aggregate
cause my local council tends to do shit work
ya gotta find the funny
ya gotta make the mirth
everything is funny
just to escape the dearth
at the end of the day
plain and fuckin simple i tell no lie
you have to be able to laugh at everything
because if you don't you'll cry
everything is funny
in one way or another
from the jokes your dad tells
or the ones about your mother
everything has humour in it
from the gallows to the gutter
from the tallow to the butter
and inside your local nutter

This is the second article on my review of the ideas in The Four Agreements. Here's the first article: I knew that I'd move forward with this series, but I put it off as Agreement #2 is a big stumbling block for me. I'd like to say I decided to get out of my own way and thus wrote this, but that isn't the truth. (Since Agreement #1 is to Be Impeccable with Your Word I surely need to own up to that)
