It’s finals season

Where everyone be locked in at libraries

Studying countless hours like crazy

Till their eyesight gets hazy

And that’s when you know it’s caffeine o'clock

Having bought my sweet caramel crème brule latte

I walk back to the library, the cool crisp breeze swooshing in the air

As my cheeks turn red like roses

But there goes my luck

As I trip and fall, screaming “fuck!”

Now with coffee spilled all over my arm,

Turning it as bright red as a fire alarm

I lay in the hospital bed

Feeling mentally dead

But at least I got an exam extension

So, I can practice my cue cards for better retention
