She had a cat, a fluffy thing,
With eyes as bright as diamond rings,
And when she walked, it trailed behind,
A loyal friend, a constant find.
It purred and curled up in her lap,
As she stroked its fur, a gentle tap,
A soothing presence, always there,
To comfort her, and ease her care.
The cat was playful, full of life,
With whiskers sharp, and claws for strife,
It chased the strings and balls she threw,
And in her laughter, it knew its cue.
Together they'd sit, in quietude,
The cat beside her, in a mood,
Of peacefulness, and blissful grace,
Content to share this special space.
So here's to the girl and her cat,
A pair so perfect, never to be flat,
May they enjoy their days together,
And cherish every moment, forever.
