Feelings of despair,

Fill our hearts.

While silence ,

seems to smother the air.

From our lips to our feet,

Internal conflicts ,

are seeking defeat.

No one will say , "we're not okay."

Everyone knows, but for some reason,

we all pretend that it doesn't show.

That we are all broken inside,

And fighting, for the will to stay alive.

After all , we were taught to be strong , & fight.

The truth is, we all need to feel.

It's alright to need someone by your side.
