Feeling Forgotten…

Inspired by a prompt about ‘feeling forgotten’ I did from ‘Write Now! Poetry” self-guided journal—I wrote another poem about my pain and loss..

Feeling Forgotten…

Ever since I was born, I was welcome—-

I was happy.

Until then, two years later—

I have become flawed.

A Flawed—

An Outsider—

An Outcast—

A Misfit—

Why do people treat me like an inhuman?

I really don't get it!

I always felt lost—

No matter how I met right, wrong, online and in-person—-

I have always been forgotten no matter how good days and bad days went—

I do not know if I should stay alive after thirty-five years—

It feels like I am NOT important in the first place—

I do not know if anybody will miss me—
Thinking about me—

Feelings about me—

I will be gone for now...

Now, I am finally free..

Oh, so familiar. But look here...I'm seeing below, a list of names with real people behind them who have chosen to see you. We need to find those little counterpoints and give them a fair hearing.

Meghan– I can completely understand where you are right now. Sometimes the heaviness of life can feel like too much. Remember that YOU are a valuable and vital piece of this world. Your heart is pulsing with the rhythm of all life here on earth and the song would not be right without your unique vibration. Sending you a massive hug and heaps of love! I’m always here to listen, and I care that you are here! 💞💫

I'm with Donna, sending you hugs as sometimes we do feel this way! I like to remember that in the infinite, my copies are happier or sadder than I and I'm just a decision away from being better off!

Hi Meghan! Sending you virtual hugs!! So many of us have felt this way. It can get better. ❤️ Just found your insta, will say hi over there!

  • I echo Dharrsheena’s comment. I also want to say something that may seem a bit odd… But I remember it being one of those hard truths that really helped (and continues to help) me… “You haven’t tried hard enough at living to even consider giving up on life” Get your health together from all angles… study your way out of how you feel… keep levelling up… And have a sift through my profile. Specifically The messages from the universe piece I wrote… ❤️✨

  • This was like you read mind and feelings. Very relatable. Please know that I'm here if you need someone to talk to. Please stay alive 🥺 Sending you lots of love and hugs ❤️ I'll be nominating for on Discord for a Top Story. I want more people to show you that we love you here!
