I don't know how to feel this way.

We were in love, and I, delighted.

And then, you left and didn't say

why you went off to get away.

How could I have been so near-sighted?

I don't know how to feel this way.

The day was sad, and stuck on replay -

and to my shame - love, unrequited,

leaving only clouds of gray.

I don't know how to feel this way.

We were as one, strongly united.

Was I simply child's play?

Maybe you'll return someday,

Thinking you would make wrongs righted.

I wouldn't take you anyway.

Your fleeing did, to me, convey

that you were clearly unexcited,

and that you may again betray.

Maybe I'll learn to feel this way.
