Let your tongue unfurl to feed me truth

Feed me all the things buried in you

The darkness beneath your lowered gaze

The rancor woven into your blood

Let your eyes betray to me the truth

Feed me the shame that has tormented you

The longing that spun your passion into ruin

The dread your heart somehow embalmed

Let them be mine to cradle and to soothe

Till this heartache and woe are no longer yours
