February flutter

Holiday musings

By Salomé SaffiriPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

The foil hearts flutter, pierced by crimson string

The bell above the door emits a piercing ring:

My own heart flutters.

The February wind will walk me home.

My February winded heart will roam.

Why having heart that fills with such turmoil?

I'd rather turn it into heart of foil.

About the Creator

Salomé Saffiri

Writing - is my purpose. I feel elated when my thoughts assume shapes, and turn into Timberwolves, running through the snowbound planes of fresh paper, leaving the black ink of their paw prints behind.
