I see him, in my dreams..

When I wake up I shrink his name.

He wants me every waking hour.

****

He killed my spirit-

He broke me in my ways.

Why did I just walk away, when I had the chance.

All of my life, he abused me, all of my life he hated me.

****

I was his pawn, his possession, his obsession.

If he couldn't be happy, no could.

I feared him.

I see him, I never saw how evil he had been.

***

The wickedness of his words.

The wickedness of his glares.

Only person to see this, is me.

Before he broke me..

***

He almost broke me again..

He had others do it in his place..

I thought after a faded away, the memories would to.

They never did who knew.

***

No one believed me of his cruelty.

So why say anything.

***

I see him in my dreams, will they ever fade away.

***

Ah yes, I know something his spirit doesn't, I am a survivor of his lies, and frailty.

***

A survivor, of abuse, a survivor who gets back on her feet.

***

How do I do this, just wait and see.
