Fasting for the Soul

Risks of Intermittent Fasting

Fasting for the soul,

Intermittent rhythms take their toll.

Benefits and risks we take,

For a healthier life we'll make.

A rhythm of feast and famine,

For the body, a moment of examination.

Toxicity out, rejuvenation in,

A cleansing of the soul, a cleansing from within.

The risks we take, a hunger of the mind,

As the body's reserves, we unwind.

Headaches and hunger pangs may come,

But with perseverance, we'll overcome.

A balance of the body and the mind,

As we leave our hunger far behind.

A lifestyle choice that takes some grit,

For the benefits we'll reap, we'll get.

A healthier heart, a clearer mind,

Intermittent fasting we'll find.

For a life of health, we take the test,

And find that fasting is the best.
