Fallen from Grace: A Poem About Donald Trump

Reflections on a Controversial Leader

Oh, Donald Trump, a name so bold,

A man who always loved to be told,

That he was the best, the greatest of all,

His ego towering, standing tall.

With golden hair and a famous face,

He spoke with words that left a trace,

Of controversy and heated debate,

That often left his foes in a state.

His policies, some loved and some loathed,

His character, sometimes praised, sometimes reproached,

But always he remained the talk of the town,

His name in headlines, both up and down.

He built a wall, he made some deals,

He tweeted often, his opponents he’d steal,

From his office high, he watched the world,

With a flick of his wrist, he’d give it a twirl.

Now his time in power has come and gone,

But his legacy lingers, still going strong,

Some admire him, others despise,

But no one can deny, he caught our eyes.

Oh, Donald Trump, a name so bold,

Love him or hate him, he was never ignored,

But whether he’s remembered as a hero or a clown,

Only time will tell, as history comes around.
