When Love Fades, and Darkness Prevails

The light once shone so bright,

Now fades into the night.

A love that once burned with a fiery flame,

Now flickers weakly, never the same.

The darkness creeps in, inch by inch,

Taking hold of the love we once did clinch.

Our hearts once beat in perfect time,

Now the rhythm's gone, and it's a crime.

The memories we shared, now bitter-sweet,

Our love, once complete, now incomplete.

The laughter, the joy, the tears we cried,

All faded now, as our love died.

The pain we feel, so hard to bear,

A love that once was, now not there.

We search for solace, but it's not found,

Our love, now gone, with no sound.

The fading light of our love, so dim,

A love once strong, now oh so thin.

Our hearts now shattered, our souls in pain,

Love's fading light, forever slain.
