Gone with the time. Memories faded, only one flower left on the gravestone

“Never be forgotten, what a brave soul,” saved our lives with his own

“We should honor him, our brave soul”, said the society that he lived in.

“Miss you so much, but I’m proud, going to tell you, we are now pregnant.”

Gone with the time. Memories faded, only one flower left on the gravestone.

“Will pay you more, work late nights,” said an old boss in delight

Angry landlord yelling at doorstep, “this month’s rent due pay or get out.”

They knew very well

She’s the widow of one who saved them

Hero, they said, never be forgotten

Tears in her eyes, she yelled in secret, “I hate heroes all my life.”

“Where’s my daddy,” asked her little girl, who’s barely three years old.

“Daddy was a hero; he’s in heaven.” hugging her kid tight, she said out loud.
