even though
she’s striving and fighting
second to many.

she is
afraid but not discouraged
trying to be better
fake it till you make it

This is excellent! You have nailed the concept of the inverse, and your poem flows both ways so nicely. “the first and the best she is afraid but not discouraged” are such strong lines where the meaning of the poem turns in the middle. Well done😊
