Exes and Oh'SH-

Kisses and Shrugs

By Michael ButorovichPublished 5 days ago 1 min read

I'm not saying things

Aren't going to end

Well because I think

It's utterly true.

I'm simply saying it

Cause that's how shit

Goes down most of

The time.

You never really

Know though.

{

I only mention

My ex or my exes

Because I went

Through that same

Maze at your age

And I've learned to

Endure and let

Whatever be as so.

{

Love,

Or the feeling of it

Can die like a

Sick animal crawling

Under the house with

The last of it's pride.

Or worse,

It turns into a snarling

Dog bent on opening

Your throat!

Except lets not be so grim.

{

It's possible your prince

Won't devolve back to

An amphibian and leave

You in the swamps.

Hope for that while

Keeping in mind

It can all be in pieces

In seconds.

{

Even then you're still

Alive and that's all

That matters.
