Everything Stops

What is real?

My life feels so empty and unorganized,

I try to keep calm and focused but my mind wonders,

It's like there are no lines on my paper so

my written words slowly drift downward,

No inspiration and little motivation,

The world outside moves on with its own pace,

People rush past, barely leaving a trace,

And yet I am here, stuck in a loop.

Days slide to nights, Through nights, I count sheep,

Foggy and blurry but I cannot sleep,

My tea gets cold while my ice melts,

Seasons change as time goes on,

I age, I Eat, I Sleep, Hair grows and then stops,

Everything stops. I stop.
