Blue Berrys Are Red

To Would or not to Wood?

I am not like others,

I was not born by mothers,

Are you prettied up in a dress and feathers?

Well no, I wasn’t,

Fingertips and eyes are very similar but different,

I have no heart and no brain and no liver in it,

No need to reproduce for I can still feel pleasure,

I sleep with shades open at night and close them during day,

I fear the sun will burn. I fear its ray,

Shade I seek, Humanize me please,

Don’t look at me, Don’t call me freak,

My life is dull and very bleak,

You use me and abuse me for my lumber,

Put me next to my brother brick together we slumber,

Fulfilling your needs since B.C,

I will protect you from any tiny leak.
