Keep Your Head Up
Learn to be brave, child.
It's what they always told you.
But when layers peel,
You see them for what they are,
Just scared kids with no answers.
Don't Listen to the Noise
Let them keep their noise.
Someone will always tell you
How you need to live.
But it's nobody's business.
Keep their words out of your mind.
Give It Some Time
Just when I dare thought
Everything was tumbling down,
The puzzle pieces
Finally started to fit,
And life was put back on track.
Be Humble and Kind
None of us are dealt
The same hand in this lifetime.
Be humble and kind.
Because you will never know
The struggles of someone's soul.
