Pug was a playful dog.
Although she was not always
like that. She was frightened
of being alone.
Everytime her owner would
leave, she would bark herself
to sleep.
She liked being the favorite
of her family and she liked
wondering in the yard.
She would smile all the flowers
and all the grass to see if
any animal came by.
She would run with the trees
and she loved being petted.
It happened that upon a morning
there was a capybara in the yard.
Such a strange sight that it caught
Pug off.
She was busy enjoying the weather
and laughing at the wind, which
is what she did ever so often.
The capybara curious about
Pug came close unafraid.
Pug was scared and ran barking.
And the capybara stood still
as a statue.
Pug came closer and closer.
She sniffed the capybara.
All around him with her
tail standing up.
And when Pug came to his front.
The capybara kissed her.
At first Pug back in disgust
but tried the capybara
on his side away from his mouth.
And he waited and sniffed her.
Pug's owner watching from distance
called Pug and Pug ignored.
Then suddenly ran away
Pug looked back as her owner
sternly said to her that she does not
want her to play with that animal again.
And Pug's owner put a lease on her
walking away.
The capybara stood in the distance
and ran quickly away to his home.
Some time has went by
and Pug missed the capybara.
She wined to her owner to
go back to that park.
And her owner gave in,
Pug used her nose to
see if the capybara came back.
And she sniffed and sniffed
but she could not find his scent.
She looked everywhere and
her owner realized that Pug
made friends with the capybara.
So the owner let her search
and search.
Pug finally caught his scent
and the capybara stood still behind
the tree, slowly walking out
towards the park's fence.
They walked together and that
was for some time the last time
they seen each other.
Pug howled in the wind when she
visit the park and she checks everytime
she goes to that park.
As her owner was walking Pug
besides the park's lake
Pug saw the capybara.
Barking and in an excited rage
and the capybara met her
by the shore.
Pug smelled the capybara
and said her final good bye.
The capybara went back
into the park's lake and swim
to the other side into
the forest never to be seen again.
