In shadows deep, my heart does weep,

For a family lost, a bond now asleep.

Gone are the days of laughter and cheer,

Leaving behind an emptiness so severe.

Once intertwined like branches on a tree,

Their love and warmth engulfed me.

But fate's cruel hand did intervene,

And snatched them away, a heart-wrenching scene.

Oh, how I yearn for their comforting embrace,

Their voices, their smiles, their familiar grace.

Memories flicker like candles in the night,

But their absence weighs heavy, a haunting plight.

The echoes of their laughter still resound,

In the corners of my mind, they can be found.

Yet their presence eludes, a bittersweet tease,

Leaving me longing, searching for release.

In dreams, we reunite, in realms unseen,

Where bonds are mended, and wounds are keen.

But waking reality, a bitter pill to swallow,

Leaving me to navigate this world so hollow.

Through tears and sorrow, I hold them dear,

Their essence forever etched, crystal clear.

Though physically apart, their spirits persist,

Lost in the depths, but never truly missed.

So I carry their love in the depths of my soul,

A beacon of hope, a guiding role.

Though the pain remains, their legacy thrives,

In memories cherished, where love survives.
