On again, off again,
Like a switch.
Dependable, reliable, undeniable
A go to, this is no glitch!
Determined to hold hands, not fist.
“Just stay in the moment..”
He sealed with a kiss.
He insists.
I can’t rely on my own insides..
Stability? What’s that?
I can’t escape my own pride.
Where is this we’ve arrived at?
On again, off again
Without a hitch.
Last ditch..
In a cloud, my own abyss.
Tension rising, in my blindness.
Self-destruction, a lack of calmness.
There I go again, a recidivist!
Internal battle, external frustration.
Hand in hand, slipping, falling..
“Stay in the moment..”
Feelings slowly ending, gone amiss.
