I heard the sounds of hiss and hoot

So I walked with fire under my foot

Again I heard the trumpet and roar

Then I cried; from this land away I could soar

I had no hope of a bray

I cried my fate was today

I was enmeshed in a hysterical forest

And the buzz gave no rest

Soon, the tyrant Showcase-the typhoon

Then the cloudburst of the monsoon

I fear they cancel all lees

Then must I bend like the trees

And with jaws ready to snag

And the tempest ready to thrust

And you have no way to play your gag

You may only have the ground to trust
