Enveloped

~ ~ ~

Enveloped by resplendent mural in sky's diversion.

His glories roll in on yonder hills, through every excursion,

summersaulting into the atmosphere,

while deporting every drop of foggy fear.

"What's my next line?" The powerline asked the light pole.

The light pole, lit up, remembering... and said,

"You're supposed to say, 'I'm the bench for the birds to witness the panorama of the evening!' "

The powerline bobbed and dramatically declared his line,

hoping to invite and inspire the feathery creatures to rest,

less they miss the momentous occasion of the evening!
